Day 65 June 1st

Today we went over to a Super Tenere forum members house in Sandy OR to pick up some trailer tires that we had shipped from home to him. I changed out my trailer tires there before heading to Mount Hood. Thanks Paul.
At Mount Hood we visited the Timberline Lodge. This was built during the depression by the WPA. Lodge is hand built of huge timbers and rock. Was completed in 15 months. Very neat building. Still a lot of snow around, although locals say its much less than a normal year.
Left there and rode to Vancouver WA along the Columbia Gorge.
168 miles covered today though we ended up only 23 miles from where we started the day.
