Day 77 June 13th

Wandered around Dawson today. Cool old town. Watched a few short movies about the area at the visitor center. Was a booming place in the early days of the gold rush. Had a little rain today. Holed up in the tents and took a nap. Mainly just rested. Think we both were ready for a rest day.
Couple pulled up late in evening at campsite next to us. They were from Germany and had shipped their bike to Anchorage. Plans to ride to bottom of South America.
Also met two other guys from Germany doing same thing. They had been caught in rain and then snow on the haul road a few days ago.
No riding today.
