Today we rode the Top Of the World Hwy from Dawson City to Chicken AK. Took the ferry out of Dawson owed the river to Top of the World Hwy. Most of the road is dirt/gravel. Had reports of 13 miles of construction on US side. Started raining about a third of the way into the ride. Rain made visibility of the surrounding mountains poor. The construction area was not as bad as we had heard. Walked around Chicken AK which doesn't take long.
Met a couple {Karl, Marie and Kayla} from Quebec on bicycles who had started in Anchorage with plans of riding to south end of South America. They had their 19 month daughter with them. She was riding in a trailer that her father was pulling. Estimating 2 to 3 years for trip. Their blog at
