We stopped in Winthrop and walked around town. Thai is a old town with a very western flair.
From there continued on 20 thru the northern Cascades and into Cascades National Park. Beautiful ride over the passes with snow covered mountains on all sides. Hiked up to a couple of overlooks and took a few pictures.
Met Max from Germany. He is shipping his bike over to tour some of the US over the next six months. Hope to run across him when we drop back down into US in a few months.
Continued to Bellingham for the night. Got a campsite and changed oil and filters on bikes. Into Canada tomorrow heading to Alaska.
