Day 74 June 10th

Today we traveled from Dease BC to Whitehorse Yukon. Rain off and on with small hail a couple of times. Great scenery along the way. Saw a mama bear with two cubs. Temps 50 to 62 degrees. Nice campground near town. Paid 7 dollars a gallon for gas today. It was still light out at 1 am.
430 miles ridden today.

    Dave - wonderful trip!! How far up in Alaska are you guys going? All the way to Barrow on the haul road like on TV?

      We are riding all the way up the haul road from Fairbanks to Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay.

      Dave - My mistake, I meant Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay. From what I've seen on TV looks like it will be a great ride!
